What's Different

Built around one loop: launch → play

Every distraction a typical desktop throws at you — cluttered menus, background noise, update nags — is gone, replaced with a shell designed for a controller in your hand.

    Install Steps

    1. Flash the ISO to a USB drive (8GB+) using Rufus.
    2. Boot from the USB in your BIOS/UEFI.
    3. Follow the on-screen PCS5-OS setup wizard.
    4. First boot launches the PCS5 shell automatically.
This replaces your current OS on the selected drive. Back up your files first.
    Everything Under the Hood

    Built different, top to bottom

PCS5-OS isn't a theme or a launcher bolted onto an existing setup — it's a dedicated shell and system layer engineered specifically for gaming, from boot to shutdown.

    The Project

    Why PCS5-OS exists

PCS5-OS started as a simple question: why does turning on a PC to play a game take longer, and feel clunkier, than turning on a console?

    The Idea

Consoles get out of your way — power on, controller in hand, game loading in seconds. PCS5-OS brings that same feeling to a full-power PC. The shell, the store, the boot sequence, and the settings are all rebuilt around a controller-first, gaming-first experience, while still giving you the raw performance a console can't match.

    What Guides This Build

    1. Every screen should be usable with a controller alone.
    2. Nothing runs in the background unless it earns its place.
    3. Installing and launching a game should never take more than a few clicks.
    4. The system should look and feel like one coherent product, not a patchwork of tools.
